Wandsworth Council has launched a new scheme for budding greenfingers who want to learn how to grow their own food.
Grow Active is a series of food growing workshops, taking place in the Penfold Community Centre, Neville Gill Close, Wandsworth.
Participants have the chance to learn new skills, meet like-minded people and improve their neighbourhoods.
At the beginning of each session visitors can enjoy refreshments and network.
The sessions are aimed at gardeners from Wandsworth's community gardens, allotments, housing estates and schools.
People can take part even if they do not have a garden, with the opportunity to volunteer at gardens looking for helpers.
The first session is on September 18, with others to follow as seasons change.
It costs £5 per session or £20 for five sessions.
